Randell Design Group’s architectural services are tailored to match your unique expectations, requirements and preferences. Our approach puts our clients at the heart of the architectural process, ensuring that our designs reflect your values, personal style and lifestyle demands. We are committed to finding architectural solutions to even the most challenging design scenarios and briefs.
We seek to understand your core needs and aspirations, presenting options that can be translated into innovative, well-designed and cost-effective buildings. We have a team of dedicated architects with a range of expertise and styles, from contemporary, to coastal, to traditional listed buildings, and everything in between. Our designs are driven by context and our clients, not the other way around. We have years of experience designing new builds, renovations, listed building refurbishments, sustainable buildings, master plans and full site developments.
As part of our diverse team, Randell Design Group has architects who specialise in the conservation, renovation, alteration and extension of listed and historically important buildings. Our careful design approach pays close attention to detail, working in sympathy with the original building and site to create appropriate and creative design solutions that preserve integrity.
Your architectural dream is our challenge.
With a dedicated team of talented interior designers, we offer creative and beautiful interior design solutions, both as a stand-alone service and alongside architecture and project management. We pride ourselves on working hand in hand with our clients to create interior spaces that are loved, authentic and suited for individual lifestyles.
Our approach is to create unique and timeless designs tailored to your way of life and personal preferences. With experience in all building types, periods and styles, our personalised service goes beyond clients’ expectations to create interiors that deliver creativity, added value and absolute quality.
Randell Design Group’s interior designers are associate members of the British Institute of Interior Design (BIID) and are highly competent in the full range of interior design services. We can take you through the complete interior design process and our services include: design and style consultation, 2D layouts, 3D visualisations, construction and technical drawings, furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E) specification and sourcing, project and construction management, art and antique selection, and more. We work closely with high-quality suppliers and talented craftspeople to deliver exceptional results within your budget.
Our goal is to help you create stunning interior spaces that are a reflection of you.
We offer many levels of project management, from professional contract administration to full construction management services. As administers of the contract between you and building contractors we act as impartial advocates throughout the construction phase of your project. We help you through the process of appointing a contractor and prepare the contract documents on your behalf. During construction, through site monitoring and project assessment we will keep you regularly informed and up to date on progress and performance. In addition we will ensure that the project is being built according to the agreed contract drawings, specifications and budget, and that it is completed according to the programme of works.
As construction managers, Randell Design Group can manage all aspects of your build, ensuring a project is delivered successfully, safely, on time and to budget. We have experience in providing construction management services for a multi-million pound portfolio of projects, including high-end residential renovations and HMOs. Through this service, we work closely with our in-house architects and interior designers, trusted consultants and sub-contractors to ensure high-quality results. Our role includes project planning and scheduling, resource allocation, procurement, staff management, monitoring, community liaison, budget management and forecasting, and coordination of experts and consultants. Throughout this process we put our communication with clients and other stakeholders as paramount.
If you are hoping to undertake a building project or home renovation, you will most likely need planning permission. We have years of experience of designing to meet national guidance and local planning policy and have a high success rate of achieving planning for our clients. Along with our trusted planning consultants, our architects and interior designers will help you to manoeuvre your way and advocate of your behalf throughout the (often challenging) planning process.

We think what sets us apart from other design firms is our holistic and very personal service that we offer our clients. Randell Design Group can work with you on every aspect of the design process and realisation of your dream building. We will work with you from concept to completion to handing over the keys and beyond.
From our first meeting, we aim to get to know you and understand your interests, likes and dislikes, hobbies, and dreams. We will work with you to develop a brief and then come up with some concepts that suit your lifestyle. From concept and feasibility study, we can develop full architectural and interior design plans and then walk you through the planning stage. Once planning is achieved we will develop technical drawings and tender packages upon which we will present your scheme to contractors or work with you directly to manage your build and occupancy of your new home or commercial premises.
Since we launched in 2008 we have also helped our awesome clients in some atypical ways: such as finding a dream property on the south coast after a year-long search; commissioning artwork and finding one of a kind vintage pieces; recommending restaurants, holiday destinations and schools; introductions to gardeners and babysitters; receiving surfing and paddleboard tuition, and much more. Many of our clients have become life-long friends.
